Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the Load Share marketplace, including driver and subscriber responsibilities.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction to use Load Share. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it current.
Drivers must pass Load Share's background check review before accessing load opportunities. See Background Check Policy for how checks are reviewed, including individualized assessments and disqualifying offenses.
Driver responsibilities
- Maintain valid government-issued identification.
- Carry and maintain insurance that complies with local and state requirements.
- Provide accurate information about yourself, your vehicle, and your availability.
- Operate your vehicle safely and lawfully at all times.
Marketplace disclaimer
Load Share is a technology marketplace. Load Share is not the employer of drivers, does not provide transportation services, and does not guarantee any specific outcome between customers and drivers.
Independent contractor relationship
Drivers using Load Share are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between Load Share and any driver or customer.
Account suspension
Load Share may suspend or terminate any account at its discretion, including for suspected fraud, unsafe behavior, violation of these Terms, or non-payment of fees.
Payment disputes & chargebacks
You agree not to dispute or charge back a payment for a load that was actually delivered. Filing a fraudulent chargeback against a completed load may be treated as theft of services and can result in account suspension, referral to collections, and other actions described in our Theft of Services & Fraudulent Chargebacks Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Subscription terms
Driver memberships are billed on a recurring basis and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel future renewals from your billing settings at any time. Fees are charged in advance for each billing period.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Load Share is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the platform or any interaction with another user.
