Theft of Services & Fraudulent Chargebacks Policy

Our position

Load Share takes payment disputes seriously. When a driver completes the load you posted, the service has been delivered and the payment that funded that load is earned. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute against a completed, confirmed load may be treated as theft of services and abuse of the payment system.

By posting a load and paying through Load Share, you agree not to dispute charges for services that were actually delivered. If you have a legitimate problem with a load, contact us first at support@loadshareatlanta.com so we can investigate before it becomes a payment dispute.

How we verify a load was completed

Before a payout is released, Load Share independently records that the load was performed. Completion is verified through a combination of:

• The customer's in-app "Task Complete" confirmation
• The driver's in-app "Task Complete" confirmation
• Load record, including pickup and dropoff addresses, timestamps, and load details
• In-app chat messages between customer and driver
• Payment, payout, and Stripe transaction records
• Administrative review notes and any uploaded photos

This evidence is retained for every load and can be provided to payment processors, banks, and card networks during a dispute.

What may happen after a fraudulent chargeback

If a customer files a chargeback or dispute on a load that our records show was completed and confirmed, Load Share may take any combination of the following actions:

• Submit evidence to the payment processor. We will respond to the dispute with the complete completion record described above and contest the chargeback.
• Suspend or terminate the account. Accounts associated with a fraudulent dispute may be suspended immediately and permanently banned from Load Share.
• Refer the balance to collections. Unrecovered amounts, including the load payment, processor fees, and dispute-handling fees, may be referred to a third-party collections agency and reported as a debt.
• Pursue civil legal action where appropriate. Where the law allows, Load Share may pursue civil claims for theft of services, conversion, or fraud, and recover legal costs.
• Report fraud to authorities. Suspected payment fraud may be reported to law enforcement and to anti-fraud networks used by card issuers and payment processors.

Legitimate disputes are different

Nothing on this page restricts your real consumer-protection rights. If a load was not delivered, was materially different from what was agreed, or was canceled, you can request a refund through Load Share. See our Refund Policy and contact support@loadshareatlanta.com. We will work with you in good faith before any dispute is escalated.

Driver responsibilities

Drivers are expected to perform loads honestly and to mark "Task Complete" only when the load has actually been delivered. False completion confirmations by a driver are also a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account suspension, forfeiture of payout, and the actions described above.

Your agreement

By using Load Share, posting a load, or paying for a load, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and agree that:

• You will not dispute or charge back a payment for a load that was actually delivered.
• You will contact Load Share support before initiating any payment dispute so we can review the load and try to resolve the issue.
• Load Share may use the records listed above as evidence in any payment dispute, internal review, collections action, or legal proceeding.
